Examination Boards
From these sites it is possible to find out how to order past examination papers and other material. Before doing this I suggest that you check with the school, as schools often use past papers for tests and mock examinations. It is better practice for the real examination if the questions have not been seen beforehand.
National Curriculum
There are two sites. I have been advised that these are both aimed at teachers and may not be appropriate for a wider public audience.
Revision Guides, Study Books and other Educational Books
- CGP cover many subjects at most levels. Their workbooks and practice papers are good value.
- Collins and Letts both publish good revision guides.
Recommended Sites
- Maths Is Fun contains many useful resources for school mathematics from basic arithmetic to advanced-level topics.
- MathsHelper for Students contains resources for GCSE and A level students and is particularly useful for students preparing for Oxbridge entrance.
Other Tutors
- A+ Tutors UK is a directory that lists tutors in most subjects.
- Beanbag Learning is a site that I personally recommend. They do make an effort to match students and tutors.
